Town Hall; 6/14 2. Summer Excursion; 7/20; limited time permitted for awards 3. October Meeting 4. Christmas party &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p class="mobile-post"&gt;*Ask PM/GM's what day and time their weekly property meetings are held. Then, split the properties among the committee members and go to each meeting the week of 6/26-6/30.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p class="mobile-post"&gt;*What to discuss while at Weekly team meeting: 1. Our purpose/goal 2. Our Criteria for awards 3. Give Questionnaire [Stephanie creating] 4. Give Poster [Traci and Rosanna creating]; similar to the Action Selling Posters, but with the Award Committee info instead (completed at Kinko's) to keep associates jazzed about program! 5. E-mail questionnaire answers to Rosanna (e-mail address will be listed on questionnaire and poster) *&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p class="mobile-post"&gt;[Wendy] working on creating an Award Committee Blog. Perhaps a link from [Mike's] blog? &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p class="mobile-post"&gt;*[Traci] writing a blurb for the blog after the Town Hall mtg. &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p class="mobile-post"&gt;*[Mike] do we have a photographer in mind for the Town Hall mtg? If not, [Stephanie] has volunteered! &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p class="mobile-post"&gt;*How do we expand our committee? Is 7 members enough? Members include: Wendy, Pete, Stephanie, Traci, Mishell, Emily and Rosanna. &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p class="mobile-post"&gt;*[Rosanna] get 10 ways to be a winner statements for their awardees at the Town Hall mtg to include on the certificate. &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p class="mobile-post"&gt;*[Wendy] Traveling trophy for fastest e-lead response. &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p class="mobile-post"&gt;*[Mishell] will e-mail criteria to win awards to all associates no later than Monday, June 12th. &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p class="mobile-post"&gt;*[Wendy] get criteria to Mishell for distribution. &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p class="mobile-post"&gt;*[Mike] will someone be announcing the winners of the awards while you hand them out and pose for the photo? Or will it be similar to Christmas 05' where you will announce the award and then someone will just hand you the award to hand to the awardees? &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p class="mobile-post"&gt;*Town Hall is the first event for the Awards Committee &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p class="mobile-post"&gt;*Second Event= Summer Excursion; limited time for awards. &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p class="mobile-post"&gt;*Major Event= October Meeting &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p class="mobile-post"&gt;*Pyramid game [Pete] to build, [Traci, Mishell and Emily create questions] [Mishell] will gather info on the game, focusing mainly on the bonus round. &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p class="mobile-post"&gt;*[Rosanna] e-mail RSVP request for Summer excursion vehicles; in order to pre-pay parking fee of $3 per vehicle. &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p class="mobile-post"&gt;*[Mike] Are the office's open prior to the Summer excursion at 11:30am, or are they closed all day? &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p class="mobile-post"&gt;*[Mike] What is the budget for the October meeting? &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p class="mobile-post"&gt;*Location for October meeting= Bellecourt and pool area with rented awnings from Sneads &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p class="mobile-post"&gt;*Breakfast prepared by Rosanna, Stephanie and Pete &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p class="mobile-post"&gt;*Use a rent ready apartment to store supplies, prepare food, and storage. Then, pay $20 to have it spiffed. Consider this idea for the Summer Excursion lunch preparation as well! &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p class="mobile-post"&gt;*[Rosanna and Stephanie] will count how many chairs we have at Bellecourt and measure for the awnings from Snead's. &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p class="mobile-post"&gt;*[Mike] what is the date in October for this meeting? &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p class="mobile-post"&gt;*Would the budget allow purchasing several $25 gas gift cards as prizes? &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p class="mobile-post"&gt;*Next Awards Committee meeting to go over awards for Summer Excursion: July 5th 11am at PAO. &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p class="mobile-post"&gt;*Include [Mike's Tues. call nominations] for 10 ways to be a winner, but one winner per month. Also, include Employee of the Month winner in our Committee, and Brand Crusader of the Month winner as well. &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p class="mobile-post"&gt;*Get a photo of the committee! &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p class="mobile-post"&gt;*Wear 10 ways to be a winner t-shirts when going to team meetings! Yes, that is right 96% occ &amp;amp; 3.6% LTL. &lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt;What is even more impressive is that for June we had 38 M/I;s &amp;amp; 44 M/O's, for July we have had 27 M/I's &amp;amp; only 17 M/O's. The team has rented 60 units since June 1st (53 June &amp;amp; 7 July MTD). &lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt;The maintenance team has turned 65 units in the last 4 weeks for a staggering 16.25 units turned per week or 3.25 per day. This doesn't include the 261 service requests completed from June 1st through today. To break that down it is 52.2 per week or 10.44 per day. Town Hall; 6/14 2. Summer Excursion; 7/20; limited time permitted for awards 3. October Meeting 4. Christmas party *Ask PM/GM's what day and time their weekly property meetings are held. Then, split the properties among the committee members and go to each meeting the week of 6/26-6/30. *What to discuss while at Weekly team meeting: 1. Our purpose/goal 2. Our Criteria for awards 3. Give Questionnaire [Stephanie creating] 4. Give Poster [Traci and Rosanna creating]; similar to the Action Selling Posters, but with the Award Committee info instead (completed at Kinko's) to keep associates jazzed about program! 5. E-mail questionnaire answers to Rosanna (e-mail address will be listed on questionnaire and poster) *[Wendy] working on creating an Award Committee Blog. Then, pay $20 to have it spiffed. They want to be recognized for the things they do best. I do, don’t we all? In recent times of self-reflection I have realize that I have been doing a poor job in this area. Because I have been the recipient many times of praise and recognition it makes it even worse that I am not a Crusader of this cause. I know I need to be a champion therefore, I need to first apologize to you all. I need to be humbled and admit that many of my ideas come from you and I am inspired by many of your talents. I know I don’t tell my peers that enough. Secondly I want to give a big heart-felt thanks for all you do to make me a better person. My promise to you this year is to do a better job acknowledging your successes. Please keep me to task.&lt;br /&gt;To my team I say you all amaze me everyday and push me to become a better manager. I want her to know that I think she has done a phenomenal job holding the team and the property together at CP. She went in gong-hoe and never stopped. She is exceptionally open to new ideas and embraces challenges. Well after some thought I realized that the first people I should be concerned with is my TEAM. I was on the "tour" of a lifetime on this bright shining day. My thoughts were clear, the sun shone down and the beauty of our complex was all too perfect. Yet unbenanownst to me my leasing cart had developed a leak some where between the time I had left the leasing office to our first stop at the Altamont building. As I re-entered the lobby area from my tour I could see two maintenance professionals hurriedly working on the cart. I was baffled at first until I walked around to see the cart tire that had not only flattened but had popped off the bead. Then boom, the cart was finished lickety split and I was on my way, customers in hand. Now as we both know that journey isn't as far to walk as say....walking to Eugene, yet as a customer service agent making our customers walk back to the office just didn't seem right. I just wanted to let you know how impressed I am at Ury and Matt for going above and beyond the call of duty to do the right thing and fix that tire. Employees are recognize by their peers and then the entries are chosen by a committee. This type of award means more as it requires your peers to take the time and share what you are good at. This is not always easy or convenient which sometime inadvertently recognition does not come when deserved. The INSANELY GREAT part of this recognition is that it is accompanied by&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;* A certificate&lt;br /&gt;* A gift card&lt;br /&gt;* Balloons &amp; a cake&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The awards ceremony includes the Regional Manager reading what was written about the employee, with holding the name until the last minute (which he usually screws up on) in front of the employees peers and supervisors. It is a touching and exciting experience.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;What is &lt;strong&gt;EVEN&lt;/strong&gt; more &lt;strong&gt;ASTOUNDING&lt;/strong&gt; is that for the month's of January and February 2006 one employee from both LaSalle &amp;amp; CenterPointe were the recipients. They deserve to be in the &lt;strong&gt;SPOTLIGHT&lt;/strong&gt;. They perform tasks that no one else wants to do, amazingly, with a smile. They unclog nasty toilets, pick-up dog doo, get yelled at by clients, remember your name and the name of your dog, sort packages, and too many more to name. They never skip a beat. They are &lt;strong&gt;INSANELY&lt;/strong&gt; great! It is important to share with you that if they didn't do what they do then the &lt;strong&gt;SHIP&lt;/strong&gt; would literally SINK. Our customers would have to unclog their own toilets, pick-up their own dogs doo, yell at someone else, have someone else remember their name, be home to get their own packages and so on. Most of them perform tasks for our customers that they are not required to do like feed animals during vacations, carry packages from cars to apartments, and so many others just because they &lt;strong&gt;REALLY&lt;/strong&gt; care. They deserve to know that we all know what they do and we think they are &lt;strong&gt;AMAZING&lt;/strong&gt;.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Additionally, our team is incredibly talented. Some are great at poetry, some are XBox &amp;amp; Playstation experts, some have mind-boggling low golf handicaps, some manage to be exceptional &lt;strong&gt;MOM's&lt;/strong&gt; and employees at the same time, some are productively living on their own for the first time, some are incredible at playing instruments, some are wonderful &lt;strong&gt;DAD's&lt;/strong&gt; and husbands, some are mind-blowing out-of-the-box-thinkers who continually save us time and money, some have a remarkable talent for being kind and compassionate and so much more.
