Meeting notes from June 7th and June 21st
Our meeting began at 10am and concluded at 11:30am on Wednesday, June 21, 2006.
Here are the meeting notes:
*Award time at Summer Excursion: 11:30am-Noon
*Next Award Committee meeting to prepare awards for Summer Excursion will be held at Centerpointe on Wednesday, July 12th from 10-11:30am
*At this meeting be prepared to get group Committee photo taken
*After this meeting [Stephanie and Rosanna] to measure Bellecourt and exterior pool area for awnings thru Sneads for October function
*Next Award Committee meeting to prepare for October's event will be held at Centerpointe on Wednesday, August 2nd from 10-11:30am
*[Stephanie] creating questionnaire form for suggestion box, will then forward to Rosanna to print in color.
*[Traci] please write a blurb on the blog from Town Hall
*Agreed that original 7 members currently on Committee: Wendy, Pete, Mishell, Stephanie, Traci, Emily, and Rosanna is sufficient
*[Mike]: are the office's open prior to the Summer Excursion start time of 11:30am, and do they go back to property afterwards?
What is the budget for the October function?
What is the budget for the PM appreciation day?
*The pre-planned meeting on July 5th at 11am has been cancelled due to employees on vacation (Mishell and Traci). In its place we will meet on July 12th (see above note)
*The 10 ways to be a winner's will only be highlighted at the Town Hall mtg (already done) and at the October function. There is limited time at the Summer and Christmas event, so we will for-go that category during those two functions!
*[Wendy] progress on ordering more "10 Ways to be a Winner" t-shirts?
*[Traci] please write a blurb for the newsletter; Stephanie needs by this Friday, June 23rd.
***Side Note: The Award Committee would like to take up 1/2 hour of your time on the following days:

Please have all staff meet at Tanasbourne Terrace, in the clubhouse, for the 1/2 hours presentation. Mishell, Rosanna and Lori (intern) will be presenting.
Julia, thanks in advance for letting us use your clubhouse as the meeting place for this activity. Please let me know if there is any conflict with this date or time.
If a staff member is off that day, no worries, just have as much of your team present as possible!

Here are the notes that were taken during our Award's Committee Meeting that was held at Centerpointe started at Noon, on Wednesday, June 7th:
*Purpose of the committee is to give awards, provide recognition, and encourage positive meetings with a set criteria that everyone can see and achieve to if desired. *Next Award Committee meeting: Wedn, June 21st at 10am at Bellecourt! *Consider providing advance training classes; such as Leadership classes, etc. *4 main meetings this year where the Award Committee is involved: 1. Town Hall; 6/14 2. Summer Excursion; 7/20; limited time permitted for awards 3. October Meeting 4. Christmas party *Ask PM/GM's what day and time their weekly property meetings are held. Then, split the properties among the committee members and go to each meeting the week of 6/26-6/30. *What to discuss while at Weekly team meeting: 1. Our purpose/goal 2. Our Criteria for awards 3. Give Questionnaire [Stephanie creating] 4. Give Poster [Traci and Rosanna creating]; similar to the Action Selling Posters, but with the Award Committee info instead (completed at Kinko's) to keep associates jazzed about program! 5. E-mail questionnaire answers to Rosanna (e-mail address will be listed on questionnaire and poster) *[Wendy] working on creating an Award Committee Blog. Perhaps a link from [Mike's] blog? *[Traci] writing a blurb for the blog after the Town Hall mtg. *[Mike] do we have a photographer in mind for the Town Hall mtg? If not, [Stephanie] has volunteered! *How do we expand our committee? Is 7 members enough? Members include: Wendy, Pete, Stephanie, Traci, Mishell, Emily and Rosanna. *[Rosanna] get 10 ways to be a winner statements for their awardees at the Town Hall mtg to include on the certificate. *[Wendy] Traveling trophy for fastest e-lead response. *[Mishell] will e-mail criteria to win awards to all associates no later than Monday, June 12th. *[Wendy] get criteria to Mishell for distribution. *[Mike] will someone be announcing the winners of the awards while you hand them out and pose for the photo? Or will it be similar to Christmas 05' where you will announce the award and then someone will just hand you the award to hand to the awardees? *Town Hall is the first event for the Awards Committee *Second Event= Summer Excursion; limited time for awards. *Major Event= October Meeting *Pyramid game [Pete] to build, [Traci, Mishell and Emily create questions] [Mishell] will gather info on the game, focusing mainly on the bonus round. *[Rosanna] e-mail RSVP request for Summer excursion vehicles; in order to pre-pay parking fee of $3 per vehicle. *[Mike] Are the office's open prior to the Summer excursion at 11:30am, or are they closed all day? *[Mike] What is the budget for the October meeting? *Location for October meeting= Bellecourt and pool area with rented awnings from Sneads *Breakfast prepared by Rosanna, Stephanie and Pete *Use a rent ready apartment to store supplies, prepare food, and storage. Then, pay $20 to have it spiffed. Consider this idea for the Summer Excursion lunch preparation as well! *[Rosanna and Stephanie] will count how many chairs we have at Bellecourt and measure for the awnings from Snead's. *[Mike] what is the date in October for this meeting? *Would the budget allow purchasing several $25 gas gift cards as prizes? *Next Awards Committee meeting to go over awards for Summer Excursion: July 5th 11am at PAO. *Include [Mike's Tues. call nominations] for 10 ways to be a winner, but one winner per month. Also, include Employee of the Month winner in our Committee, and Brand Crusader of the Month winner as well. *Get a photo of the committee! *Wear 10 ways to be a winner t-shirts when going to team meetings! [Wendy] will order more t-shirts. *[Stephanie] will create a power point presentation to present while at team meetings. *[Rosanna and Traci] meeting at PAO on Monday, June 19th at 11am to create poster and order thru Kinko's. *[Traci] will write a blurb for the newsletter. *[Wendy] forward these notes to all other Award Committee members! We concluded at 1:30pm.
